Origin DeFi issues Origin Ether, a token that earns from Ethereum staking and from liquidity strategies on platforms like Curve and Convex. A holder gets exposure to several yield sources through one token instead of managing positions across them. Origin's earlier stablecoin, OUSD, was exploited in November 2020 for around $7 million through a reentrancy bug, and the team committed to compensating depositors in full.
