Veranta, which traded as Avantis until 2026, is a perpetuals exchange built on Base. It offers leverage on crypto and on synthetic real world assets like forex and commodities, which is a wider market list than most onchain perps venues carry.

It is Base only, and it is the venue that earns the most in fees among Base perps, which is the closest free measure of trading volume available. The protocol puts real design work into the liquidity provider side, with loss protection for traders and risk controls for LPs, because a perps venue's LPs are the counterparty to trader profits.
